Liane is a Veterinarian and PhD in Aquaculture, Vice President of the Association of Veterinary Specialists in Aquaculture (MEVEA), and a researcher at the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine at Universidad San Sebastián. She has a strong professional background in genetics, selective breeding, and genomics of aquatic organisms, with a focus on species of productive relevance. Her research focuses on genetic resistance and tolerance to diseases in fish, particularly salmonids, integrating quantitative genetics and genomic analysis approaches.
