With over 35 years of experience in aquaculture genetics, he leads the global delivery of advanced genetic and genomic services, breeding program design, and international partnerships, working with commercial breeding operations across more than 20 species in Europe, Asia, and the Americas.

Morten Miller, PhD, is an entrepreneurial microbiologist and CEO with extensive experience in applied enzymatics and rapid microbiological detection technologies. As co-founder of biotechnology companies developing patented, US-EPA-verified methods for microbial quantification in water systems and indoor environments, he is the author of 30 scientific publications and holder of three international patents.
Social anthropologist and holds a Master’s degree in Environment from the University of Melbourne. She has more than ten years of experience in marine and coastal governance and planning, facilitating participatory processes aimed at the conservation and sustainable use of marine ecosystems. She currently serves as National Coordinator of the GEF Marine Coastal Governance Project in Chile, implemented by FAO together with the Ministry of Environment, the Undersecretariat for Fisheries and Aquaculture, and SERNAPESCA, where she leads initiatives to strengthen coastal governance, marine spatial planning, and the development of a sustainable blue economy.
