He earned his Ph.D. in Genetics and Animal Breeding from São Paulo State University (UNESP), Brazil, where his research focused on the application of genomic tools to selection programs. He is actively involved in the development and implementation of genomic selection strategies aimed at increasing productivity, improving product quality, and strengthening sustainability in aquaculture operations. His expertise integrates advanced data analysis, quantitative genetics, and genomic technologies to support strategic decision-making, accelerate genetic gain, and enhance the competitiveness of aquaculture breeding programs in international markets.
