Ignacio Fernández Ruiz currently serves as Director General of ProChile, a position he assumed through Chile’s Senior Public Management System (ADP). He holds a Law degree from the University of Chile and a Master’s degree in International Economic Policy from the University of Sheffield, England. He brings over 25 years of experience in the public sector, with a strong focus on international trade and economic relations. Throughout his career, he has held several roles within the Undersecretariat for International Economic Relations, including legal advisor in the Investments and Services Department and Head of the International Unit of the Legal Department within the Economic Directorate. At ProChile, he has served in both domestic and international roles, including as Trade Commissioner in Colombia and the United Kingdom, and as Deputy Director General. His career reflects extensive experience in export promotion, investment attraction, and strengthening Chile’s international positioning.

Specialized in corporate governance, compliance, and competition law, he has served as CEO, General Counsel, and Board Secretary, notably at Empresa Portuaria Arica and as Director of the Corporación de Puertos del Conosur. He also combines his executive career with academic and professional leadership roles.
Morten Miller, PhD, is an entrepreneurial microbiologist and CEO with extensive experience in applied enzymatics and rapid microbiological detection technologies. As co-founder of biotechnology companies developing patented, US-EPA-verified methods for microbial quantification in water systems and indoor environments, he is the author of 30 scientific publications and holder of three international patents.
Joachim has been General Manager of Cermaq Chile since June 2024, after previously serving as Commercial and Supply Chain Manager within the company. He brings over 30 years of experience in the Chilean aquaculture industry, with a strong track record at leading companies such as Mowi and AquaChile, and having also served as General Manager of Friosur. He holds a degree in Economics from Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile and an MSc in Aquaculture and Fisheries Management from the University of Stirling, Scotland.
