Joachim currently serves as General Manager of Cermaq Chile, a role he assumed in June 2024 after joining the company in March 2020 as Commercial and Supply Chain Manager. He brings more than 30 years of experience in the Chilean aquaculture industry, having held senior executive positions across leading companies in the sector. His career includes key leadership roles at globally recognized companies such as Mowi and AquaChile, as well as serving as General Manager of Friosur, where he strengthened his expertise in strategic management, operations, and business development within the salmon farming industry. Academically, he holds a degree in Economics from Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile and a Master of Science (MSc) in Aquaculture and Fisheries Management from the University of Stirling in Scotland, combining strong technical knowledge with extensive executive experience.

Ignacio Fernández Ruiz is the Director General of ProChile, with over 25 years of experience in the public sector and international economic relations. He holds a Law degree from the University of Chile and a Master’s in International Economic Policy from the University of Sheffield. He has held several positions within the Undersecretariat for International Economic Relations and ProChile, both in Chile and abroad.
