Throughout his career, he has held technical and leadership roles in various aquaculture companies, actively contributing to the creation, structuring, and management of health, research, and development departments. His expertise includes the design and implementation of integrated health strategies, with particular emphasis on vaccine development and evaluation, fish pigmentation, and nutritional management, aligning sanitary, productive, and quality-driven criteria. He currently serves as Technical Manager at Salmones Antártica S.A., where he is responsible for overseeing strategic areas such as fish health, quality control and assurance, and environmental management, contributing to the strengthening of technical and operational standards across the company. In addition, Paulo Palacios has participated as a speaker at international seminars and technical forums, and has led internal training processes, supporting knowledge transfer and the continuous development of technical capabilities within the salmon farming industry.
