His professional career has been dedicated to addressing key health, biosecurity, and sustainability challenges within the global salmon industry, integrating applied research, technical innovation, and industry collaboration. He has worked closely with academic institutions and private sector companies in Chile, the United Kingdom, and Norway, developing a comprehensive understanding of salmon production systems across different regulatory and operational frameworks. Early in his career in Chile, he served as a consultant on projects aimed at reducing antimicrobial use and implementing animal welfare policies. Since 2021, he has led the Health and Food Safety area at INTESAL (Salmon Technological Institute), where he has directed and supported high-impact innovation and research projects for producers and industry suppliers. In this role, he provides technical guidance to SalmonChile members, facilitating the translation of scientific knowledge into practical, field-oriented solutions. His expertise includes the design and articulation of research initiatives based on active data analysis, contributing to sustainability-driven technical programs, regulatory compliance advancement, and the strengthening of food safety standards throughout the Chilean salmon value chain.

She currently serves as BioFarm Health Manager at BioMar Chile, where she leads initiatives focused on disease prevention, optimization of productive performance, and health sustainability, integrating applied science, innovation, and production operations.
Attorney-at-law, Ph.D. in Law and Master’s in Public Law from the Pontificia Universidad Católica de Valparaíso. Professor of Constitutional Law since 2006, with published books and articles in specialized legal journals. She has held senior legal positions within Chile’s fisheries and aquaculture institutions, including Head of the Legal Division at the Undersecretariat for Fisheries and Aquaculture (Subpesca) and Deputy Legal Director at the National Fisheries and Aquaculture Service (Sernapesca). She has actively contributed to the drafting and implementation of fisheries and aquaculture legislation and has represented Chile in national and international forums.
Agronomist Engineer with a specialization in Agricultural Economics from the Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile, and Founder and CEO of Empresas Agrotop. With a distinguished career in southern Chile’s agro-industrial sector, she has led the integration of the value chain from seed production to the manufacturing of oils and industrial food products, while promoting the international expansion of Chilean agricultural exports. She was the second woman in history to join the board of the National Agriculture Society (SNA) and has been recognized as Entrepreneur of the Year by EY and Icare.
