Don't miss the opportunity to participate in the largest aquaculture event in the Southern Hemisphere!
The company, the world’s leading supplier of nets and ropes – with a presence in 75 countries – presents its R&D advances to the aquaculture industry, highlighting the operational, economic and environmental benefits of its products, positioning itself as a leading supplier committed to the challenges of global salmon farming.
Garware Technical Fibres presents its complete range of technical textile products and solutions at Aquasur 2026, adding value to the aquaculture industry. These include fish nets, sea lion nets, X12 skirt nets with anti-microalgae bloom and anti-sea lice properties (also available in a recyclable version), and mooring lines.
Among this range, the launch of the new Max Pro X18 sea lion net stands out. It boasts best-in-class mesh stiffness for optimal protection against predator attacks, with high cut and abrasion resistance for greater durability. It also features very high resistance to washing and impact, and innovative non-stick technology to reduce on-site cleaning costs. Also available with V2 technology (extrusion with copper particles): the V2 Max Pro-X18, which incorporates integrated anti-fouling properties to reduce operating costs, is designed to further improve the performance and efficiency of operations at sea.
Garware’s mission is clear: to offer innovative, application-focused solutions to increase value for its customers worldwide. “Our approach is not to sell standard products, but to listen to customers and design tailored solutions that solve their operational problems and increase their profitability. Our products are designed to protect fish from predators, pests such as sea lice (Caligus), and algal blooms, as well as reduce the need for pharmacological and mechanical treatments. At Aquasur 2026, we will be showcasing products suitable for operational strategies such as in-situ cleaning and antifouling, as well as for different site conditions,” says Gopakumar Menon, Director for the Americas at Garware Technical Fibres.
In terms of sustainability, the company is making progress in energy transition, reducing coal use, optimizing water consumption, and reusing waste materials within the production process.
Garware Technical Fibres has been operating in the global aquaculture industry since the late 1990s and in Chile since 2014, with a presence in the main aquaculture countries of Europe, Asia, North America, Oceania, and Latin America.
Aquasur 2026 will feature a distinguished team of international executives, led by Vayu Garware, Chairman and Managing Director; Shujaul Rehman, CEO; and Girish Kherdekar, Deputy General Manager of R&D.
