She currently directs the FARMAVET and INOCUIVET laboratories, which are integrated into the country’s official food safety programs, and leads the Center for Antimicrobial Stewardship in Aquaculture (CASA), a collaborating center of the World Organisation for Animal Health. In addition, she actively participates in national and international regulatory bodies, representing the academic sector on Chile’s Codex Alimentarius Committee.
