Don't miss the opportunity to participate in the largest aquaculture event in the Southern Hemisphere!
The company will participate in the fair and present initiatives aimed at incorporating innovative solutions developed by national startups.
AquaChile will be part of Aquasur 2026, the most important aquaculture fair in the southern hemisphere, which will take place between March 24 and 26 in the Los Lagos Region, with a focus on strengthening innovation, collaboration, and the development of the entrepreneurial ecosystem linked to aquaculture.
AquaChile’s presence at this new edition of the fair seeks to highlight the role played by technology, startups, and science- and technology-based ventures in the evolution of a more efficient and sustainable aquaculture industry that is connected to the real production challenges of the territory. In this context, the company will present initiatives aimed at incorporating innovative solutions developed by entrepreneurs and specialized suppliers, both nationally and internationally.
“We believe that innovation occurs when different capabilities are connected: local knowledge, technology, entrepreneurship, and production experience. Aquasur is a key space for generating these encounters and for startups to bring their solutions closer to real challenges in aquaculture,” said AquaChile.
With operations mainly in southern Chile, the company has fostered an active relationship with entrepreneurs, technology centers, and innovative suppliers, promoting collaboration models that enable scaling solutions, improving processes, and strengthening the development of aquaculture in the regions where it does business.
During Aquasur 2026, AquaChile will participate in various forums and meetings focused on applied innovation, facilitating the exchange of experiences between actors in the aquaculture ecosystem, entrepreneurs, technology providers, and representatives from the academic world.
Leading the way in salmon farming
AquaChile, a global company, produces Atlantic salmon, coho salmon, and trout, with operations that include genetics, freshwater production, sea farming, industrial processing, and marketing, supplying more than 35 international markets.
Rodrigo Lobo, institutional relations manager at GL events Chile, recently visited AquaChile’s facilities in Puerto Montt, where he met with the company’s general manager, Sady Delgado. He noted that “AquaChile’s participation in Aquasur 2026 as a strategic partner strengthens the fair’s position as the center of innovation in the aquaculture industry, in line with Chile’s global standing in this field.”
Carola Fuentes, general manager of FISA, added: “As the world’s second largest producer and exporter of salmon, we have a responsibility to be pioneers in the use of cutting-edge technologies and the implementation of best practices in aquaculture. AquaChile’s operations reflect this mission, and we are delighted to be working together during the fair.”
