Don't miss the opportunity to participate in the largest aquaculture event in the Southern Hemisphere!
To facilitate access to the fairgrounds, Aquasur 2026 implemented a comprehensive mobility plan that includes free shuttle buses from Puerto Montt, Puerto Varas and El Tepual airport, as well as road recommendations and limited parking.
Aquasur 2026 is just around the corner. The largest aquaculture fair in the Southern Hemisphere will take over the Los Lagos Region from March 24th to 26th, between 11:00 AM and 7:00 PM.
To avoid congestion due to the increased flow of visitors arriving at the venue, located at kilometer 1009.8 of Route 5, we invite you to plan your trip and help you arrive smoothly, avoiding potential traffic jams.
Rodrigo Bastidas, the fair’s manager, explains that there are several direct ways to get to Aquasur 2026: from Puerto Varas, from Puerto Montt, and also from El Tepual Airport.
From Puerto Varas: Take Route 5 towards Puerto Montt, and continue to the La Laja overpass (past the Aquasur venue), where you must turn left and continue for 2.5 kilometers towards Puerto Varas. “After passing the Shell gas station, there will be cones on the acceleration lane (to the right), marking the entrance to the venue,” explains Bastidas.
From Puerto Montt: It’s the same. Just be sure to stay in the right lane after the La Laja overpass.
For those arriving by car, both Google Maps and Waze, GPS navigation apps, have direct directions to the fair from anywhere. Simply type “Aquasur” into the search bar.
Important: To avoid delays upon entry, please note that parking is limited and it is best to purchase parking in advance. Also, remember that there is no service road or alternative parking available near the venue.
There are two entrances to the parking area at the fair itself. “If you are a visitor, you enter through the main entrance of the fair, and if you come by taxi or ride-sharing service, you can enter via the service road to the drop-off point, where there is a designated area for getting off or waiting to be picked up. Exhibitors must enter through the first two access ramps,” Bastidas explains.
The Aquasur 2026 mobility plan includes free shuttle buses from Puerto Varas, Puerto Montt, and El Tepual Airport.
From Puerto Varas, these shuttle buses will depart from the Costanera, right in front of the Radisson Hotel.
Those departing from Puerto Montt (also free) will leave from the SBT parking lot (located at Diego Portales 701).
In both cases, buses will depart for the Aquasur venue every 30 minutes, from 9:00 AM until noon. Return buses will depart every 30 minutes between 4:00 PM and 8:00 PM.
From El Tepual Airport, buses will depart every hour between 7:00 AM and 11:00 AM, and every 30 minutes between 2:00 PM and 3:00 PM. There will also be free return service to the airport terminal, with buses departing every hour between 3:00 PM and 5:00 PM.
“All shuttle buses are free,” adds Rodrigo Bastidas.
