Preparations are underway for the gala at the thirteenth edition of the most important aquaculture and fishing exhibition in the southern hemisphere.
Among the various activities scheduled during Aquasur 2026, which will take place between March 24 and 26 in the Los Lagos Region, from 11:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m., is Aquasur Night, an exclusive event that brings together the main players in the aquaculture industry, from both the public and private sectors, along with representatives from academia and trade associations.
On this occasion, the event will be held at the Centro de Vinculación Ciudad Puerto, Empormontt (Angelmó Ave #1673, Puerto Montt.) This is a 2,550-square-meter, international-standard facility designed not only for maritime transport purposes, but also for cultural, business, and government uses.
Aquasur Night is intended as a social event that, accompanied by music, cocktails, and a relaxed atmosphere, encourages the creation of new bonds among attendees. The choice of venue for this year is closely related to the positioning of Puerto Montt, known as the Salmon Capital of the World, as a hub for national and international development.
Rodrigo Bastidas, manager of the fair, said that Aquasur Night “is the ideal space for creating new opportunities and connections between different decision-makers in the industry. Aquasur is a fair with a global reach and will welcome various authorities from countries that are key to the sector.”
