* IV Conferencia Internacional AQUA SUR 2008, “The Challenges
of Growth”
Will provide an ample vision of the present worldwide ongoings in the
aquaculture world; tendencies such as changes in commercial relations
and its impact in aquaculture; innovations, new actors entering the arena
and search of consumables that support the forecasted growth; and the
effect of biofuels in aquaculture feeding.
Parallel sessions with subjects of high interest for the aquaculture
community will be held during the second day. They will include sanitary
and environmental handling in salmonculture, the latest approaches in
feeding; the aquaculture of molluscs, leadership of mitilids, other aquaculture
options such as, for example, the growth of the tilapia in the world and
of other species that will be chosen for Chile
* Lectures by Exhibitors
The organization provides the exhibitors with Technical Lectures. They
are another opportunity to learn the latest technologies that the companies
offer at this Vth version of the show.
* Family Program
The organization invites all the people who cannot attend the fair during
the week, to do it on Saturday 29th, when we will have entertainment activities
for children.
* Programs for Universities
It is addressed to organized university groups with students attending
the last year.
